Leadership, operations & ownership in veterinary medicine

See the real problem.
Make your next move.

I help veterinary leaders and owners get beneath the daily chaos, make clearer decisions, and build hospitals that don't depend on one person holding everything together.

A different kind of coaching

Leadership happens between meetings.

You don't need to hold every hard conversation or uncertain decision until next Tuesday's coaching call. Send me what's happening through a voice note or text. We'll sort through it while you can still do something about it.

What it could feel like
“My medical director changed the schedule in front of the team. I need to address it today, but I'm frustrated and don't want to make it worse.”
▶ ▂▅▃▆▃▇▅▂ 0:42
“First, let's separate the schedule decision from how it happened. What do you need her to understand, and what agreement do you need for next time?”

Illustrative exchange. Asynchronous support is not live or emergency coverage.

The method

Curiosity is where the work starts. Action is where it counts.

01 / Investigate

Name what is happening.

Look past the loudest symptom. Find the breakdown in expectations, roles, communication, or decision making.

02 / Get clear

Choose what matters next.

Sort what you can influence from what needs a broader change. Make the next decision with more context.

03 / Build

Make it work in real life.

Put practical agreements, routines, and support in place, then adjust them as the work unfolds.

Ownership & transition

The practice is more than the transaction.

I want to buy a veterinary practice.

Prepare for the people, operational, and leadership responsibilities on the other side of the purchase, and identify the questions to take to your lender, accountant, attorney, and transaction advisers.

I'm thinking about selling mine.

Explore your options, reduce dependence on you, strengthen what a successor would inherit, and protect what matters to you about the hospital's future.

Meet Suzanne

I've been inside the hospital when the plan doesn't survive Tuesday.

I'm a veterinary technician, former hospital and multisite operations leader, and founder of Leading Veterinary Teams. I bring the clinical, people, and business sides of a hospital into the same conversation.

This work is for leaders who want something more useful than being told to communicate better or work harder.

Clinical experience · hospital and multisite operations · MBA with an accounting concentration
